About Me
I was born in Germany and moved to Canada with my family in 1988. I started taking photos around the age of 14 when I had saved enough money to buy my first camera, a Minolta. At the time, I was more interested in black and white photography as it seemed easier to develop in the small darkroom that I built in my closet. I enjoyed playing with the chemicals to create different effects.
As my interests in computers grew, I started to teach myself photoshop and other photography software at the time. Putting my old 35mm camera to rest, I invested in a new Nikon D100 and went digital. As the flexibility was much greater, I was able to take many more photos which soon added up to thousands. In 2001, I begin planning for my first photograhy trip as it was always my dream to photograph wild animals in Africa. I spent 2 months traveling through Africa which lead to more to places in the South Pacific, North America, Europe and the Carribean.
In 1998, I founded IMP, a company that specializes in website design and search engine optimization, still I continue to take great pride in my photography and continue to travel whenever possible.
